Snowy egret over Petaluma River

A snowy egret glides over the Petaluma River in search of food or a place to rest. Behind the egret is the Black Point Bridge, a 250′ thru-swing-truss, built in 1911.

I don’t imagine that bird gives a hoot about that bridge.
